Assistant Human Resources Manager
Job Description
An HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department related to benefits, payroll, management of human resources programs, recruitment & selection, classification & compensation, employee relations, labor relations, performance appraisal systems and recommends human resources practices and policies. The HR Assistant must maintain accurate employee records and manage internal and external communications for the human resources department. We are looking for a mature individual who is meticulous in their work, reliable and honest.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Administers the recruitment and selection process of the organization
-provides an HR function in respect to existing staff staff members
-maintain an accurate employee database
-Assist in training and development for all staff
-Provides support on industrial relations to create a harmonious working environment
-Mediate and arbitrate on employee issues
-Conduct performance assessment programs to identify talent for promotion purposes
-Assist in workforce planning
-offers effective people management techniques
-Assist in the execution of special tasks as requested from time to time
-Assist in the administration of payroll and benefits
Qualifications and Experience
-Degree in Human Resources Management from a reputable institution
-2+ years proven experience in an HR environment
-IPMZ diploma or Payroll qualification will be an added advantage
