Business Development Officers for Business Loans, Civil Servants and Government
Pensioners Loans

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
 Evaluate and process loan applications, business or SSB.
 Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
 Provide expert advice on loan products and services.
 To develop and execute strategies to increase company sales and profits by identifying
opportunities.
 To facilitate the disbursement process and ensure that the clients get the approved
amounts of loans.
 Monitor loan utilization and business growth to ensure regular loan payments and future
loan application
 Ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies.
 Conduct market research to identify potential business clients or SSB.
 To conduct collections and follow ups to collect past or due accounts.
 Communicating new products to the client and maintaining good working relationships
with clients.


Qualifications and Experience
 Marketing or Business related degree or diploma.
 At least 2 years’ experience in a microfinance background.
 Familiar with Ndasenda Platform and experience with government loans
 Proven experience in loan origination or sales.
 Strong understanding of financial products and lending processes.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 A microfinance certificate is an added advantage
