Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions that have arisen in the Health Services Directorate in the University of Zimbabwe:

Ÿ Receiving and processing prescriptions.
Ÿ Counting and packing of medicines following guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Ÿ Shelving of medicine and other technical duties relating to appropriate storage of medicines.
Ÿ Participate in stock takes as appropriate.
Ÿ Good customer care.
Ÿ Cleaning and maintaining order in the pharmacy.
Ÿ Receiving healthcare consumers and good
customer care.
Ÿ Undertake appropriate and relevant pharmacy
services in line with the philosophy of University.
Ÿ Promote rational use of medicines.
Ÿ Work as a team with other pharmacy personnel.
Ÿ Assume additional Duties and Responsibilities as necessary.


Qualifications and Experience
Dispensary Assistant
Qualifications and Attributes
Ÿ HEXCO Pharmacy//Dispensary Assistant
certification or equivalent.
Ÿ Other relevant qualifications will be regarded as
added advantage.
Ÿ At least 3 years’ experience in a pharmacy.
