Scratch is characterized by a combination of very small grains interspersed with much larger ones. When finishing, the large grains roll amongst the small ones bringing out the patterns you see there. The traditional pattern is a series of straight parallel lines done vertically. You can however also do circular patterns similar to those of Monocouche if you wish as shown in one of the pics there. The ideal application thickness is +/-1.5mm. The coverage is sq.m due to the thicker coat. As with Monocouche, we recommend use of a similarly coloured undercoat for best visual and durability results. This as with all Santex is also a lifetime coating with great strength. It is available in a wide range of colours from our standard stock colours to custom colours
