Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Officer to manage the procurement and logistics functions of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and materials, as well as managing the logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement:
- Source and purchase goods, services, and materials in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Manage the procurement process, including requisition, quotation, and purchase order management.
2. Logistics:
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control.

3. Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Implement and maintain effective supply chain management systems and procedures.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and logistics operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics management.
• Professional certification in procurement or logistics (e.g., CIPS) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
