Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Stocks Balancing Clerk to join our team in Bulawayo and Harare! As a Stocks Balancing Clerk, you'll be responsible for monitoring and administering our Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accurate stock levels, and investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer the POS system to ensure accurate stock levels
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies
- Calculate and apportion variances between actual and theoretical stock levels
- Identify and report on slow-moving or dead stock
- Collaborate with management to implement inventory management best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements and adjustments


Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in inventory management or a related field (minimum 2 years)
- Proficient in POS systems and inventory software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of stock valuation methods
