Job Description
•A growing engineering spares company seeks a qualified and experienced individual to fill in the following position: Technical Sales Representative with at least 1 year working experience in sales of mining, agricultural, engineering and industrial products. • Must be computer literate and good with Microsoft packages. Knowledge of digital marketing will be an added advantage. • Honest and reliable with good moral values and behavior
Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive sales strategy/plan in terms of product positioning, pricing, marketing programmes, promotions and volume growth. etc.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships in terms of repeat business and bring new customers on board
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
• Participates in trade shows and conventions
Qualifications and Experience
a degree in sales and marketing or related field
at least 1year experience in a relevant field
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated work ethic and passion for meeting targets
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
